Keisha and Mutya @ The MOBOs

Keisha and Mutya attended the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards separately this week. Mutya was one of the performers, and she was also a nominee for Best Newcomer, which she unfortunately did not win. She performed her hit single Real Girl along with the album track Suffer For Love. During the performance Keisha was standing up at her table, dancing and singing along, as the pictures below demonstrate.

Keisha: “I’m Addicted To MySpace”

Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan has revealed she spends too much of her time on MySpace, admitting it “affects your day”.

The 22-year-old told us exclusively that she carries her laptop around all the time so that she can check the internet social networking site. But bandmate Heidi Range won’t be joining her for some online fun - because she and bandmate Amelle have impersonators on the site.

Heidi, 23, said she didn’t want a MySpace page anyway because it would take up too much time, and Keisha agreed. “It does,” she exclaimed. “The same way you’d go home and you wouldn’t forget to have a drink, you don’t forget to check it. It’s a bit weird. It’s a bit addictive. And then you get offended if you send a friend request to someone and they don’t reply back or something. MySpace does affect your day. Believe me.”

But that hasn’t put Amelle off. The newest member of the band wants to get her page up and running, just as soon as she can get her impersonator removed. She said: “I still want one. But there’s someone on there pretending to be me. I want to take that one off first.”

Fans of the trio will have something aside from their music to discuss online - as they are currently promoting their own range of Barbie dolls, which they have styled themselves.

Keisha Considers Adoption

Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan was so moved by street children she met during a recent trip to South Africa that she wants to adopt.

The ‘Push The Button’ singer burst into tears after meeting 12-year-old Nokwanda, a rape victim from Durban who has been abandoned by her family.

Buchanan recalled: “She said, ‘I wish you could visit all the time, why do you have to go?’ It broke my heart. What can you say to that? I know I will see her lovely face in my dreams forever.

“Meeting children like her makes me understand why Madonna felt compelled to adopt. It is definitely something I would consider one day.”

Her hearty appetite certainly hasn’t done her any harm, judging by her trim, bikini-clad figure. She and bandmates HEIDI RANGE and AMELLE BERRABAH have slammed the extreme slimming craze. I just hope skinny starlets like LAZY LOHAN follow Keisha’s example and start chowing down. The Just My Luck actress is also on holiday in Miami Beach, as is former BLUE boy LEE RYAN and JACKASS prankster STEVE-O.

SUGABABES beauty KEISHA BUCHANAN is determined the next 12 months will be more orderly and disciplined than previous years. The British singer is fed up with her frantic lifestyle and chaotic habits and hopes to turn over a new leaf in 2007.

She says, "I never stick to my New Year resolutions, but next year I really want to be more organised. It's ridiculous - I'm just not organised at all, and I hate it. I feel so disorganised. The only thing in my life that is organised is most probably my flat."

The sexy singer cannot remember the last time she spontaneously kissed a man because she is always put off at the first hurdle by their lame seduction techniques. She said: "I've had too many dodgy chat-up lines." Keisha, 22, is also unimpressed with men unsuccessfully trying to appeal to her Jamaican heritage. She said: "Too many white boys come up to me, adopt this Jamaican accent and go, 'So, ya get mi?' I'm like, 'No, maybe when I was 16, but I'm 22 now, thank you every much.' Then they start talking about Sean Paul or Bob Marley or the fact that they once went to Jamaica. That so puts me off."
