Our recording jumped during Charlotte’s part so we do not have that part at the moment but check back in a couple of days and we will upload it. (Although we much prefer this version).

You may have noticed that we have now added a calendar to the left hand side of the website. This was updated today with all the places you can get your Sugababes fix this Christmas and new year. Many shows are being repeated too, so if you missed anything check the calendar and see if it’s being shown again. The next show the Sugababes will be on is The Charlotte Church Show tonight, where they will perform the Christmas classic White Christmas. Paul O’Grady and Ben Elton will also be on the show.

Earlier today the Sugababes performed at Radio 1’s Christmas Party. They treated listeners to acoustic performances of Ugly, Push The Button, and White Christmas. To listen to their performance of Ugly and to see some pictures click here.
Today marks one year since Mutya Buena decided to leave the Sugababes, the group she co-founded with Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy when they were in their early teens. During the past year Mutya has been working on solo material and released a duet with the legendary George Michael. While the Sugababes have had two top 10 singles, and top 3 album, and performed to over 250,000 people on their UK tour, plus thousands more at gigs and festivals around the world. 2007 will see the release of Mutya's first solo single and album as well as the Sugababes' fifth studio album.

According to the official Sugababes website the shooting of the new Girls Aloud Vs Sugababes music video has been postponed due to unforseen circumstances. The video was originally scheduled to be shot tomorrow at a London location. Although the song has yet to be confirmed it is rumoured to be a cover of Walk This Way by Run DMC & Aerosmith, and the video will feature Girls Aloud representing "rock" and the Sugababes representing "R&B".

We are looking for guys and girls of every ethnicity to take part in a Girls Aloud vs. Sugababes music video!!! You need to be over 16 - with either a either ‘Rock’ or ‘R&B’ style. We are filming on Tuesday 19th December at a London location. The location will not provide parking but will be near a tube/train station.

Radio 1 is having a big Christmas Party on Friday 22nd December. All the Radio 1 DJs are moving out of their usual Radio 1 studios to a secret location and inviting some of their favourite bands and guests of the year to have a 'right festive knees up'. The 'babes are one of the artists confirmed for the Christmas bash and you could be there to join in the fun.
Radio 1 have 5 pairs of tickets to give away. If you'd like to be there send an e-mail to sugababes@umusic.com with your name, age, address, and mobile number. Please note you must be 18 years or over to enter this competition.

Indie rockers The Rakes have revealed that their new album will be titled 'Ten New Messages'. The LP is set for release in March and will be the follow-up to the band's debut album 'Capture/Release'. Frontman Alan Donohoe told the band's official website: "The album was inspired by a combination of choral music, the television show 24, Bond theme tunes, World War One poets and the Sugababes." The Rakes will also embark on a 10-date UK tour in March to promote their new album.
Easy has fallen to #71 in this week's Official UK Singles Chart, while Overloaded: The Singles Collection has climbed to #11 on the UK Official Album Charts.
According to this site the Sugababes are recording a song with Girls Aloud for Comic Relief 2007. The article says:
Girls Aloud and the Sugababes are teaming up to record a song for next year's Comic Relief. The eight-piece group are currently in the studio recording the unknown track to be released as the appeal's official tune. A source revealed: "Its amazing getting these two bands to record together, they will be the ultimate girl group. It is going to be hot." The girls, part of two of the most successful pop bands in the UK, are halfway through recording the vocals - rumoured to a cover of a well-known hip hop classic - with a video to follow.
Radio 1 have compiled a list of the biggest bands from the last 12 months based on sales, awards, touring, and column inches. They're asking listeners to pick their favourite band and then listen to a special show with Jo Whiley on Boxing Day to find out where their choice fits into the list.
