Sugababes, Keisha, Heidi, Amelle, Mutya, Siobhan, Charts, Watch/Listen, Sugababes UK & Other
Former Sugababe Mutya Buena is among the latest acts to be added to the line-up for this year’s V Festival.
The 21-year-old will make her festival solo debut at the event which will take place in Chelmsford and Staffordshire over the weekend of August 18 and 19.
NME reports that DJ and producer Mark Ronson has also been added to the bill, as have Larrikin Love, Lena Rez, Seth Lakeman, Captain, Chungking and Jesse Malin.
The Killers, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Kanye West and Kasabian are headlining the event at Hylands Park and Weston Park.
Mutya left the Sugababes in December 2005 and her debut album, Real Girl, is released on May 14. She will also appear at T4 On The Beach in Weston Super Mare in July.
Last month Mark Ronson reached No 2 in the singles chart with his cover of The Smiths’ song Stop Me, with album Version reaching the same position.

Ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena has been mixing it up… She has supposedly claimed that someone is stealing her identity and copying her look. But who would do such a thing? Well, according to Mutya it’s her Sugababes replacement, Amelle Berrabah.
And if you go around making claims like that don’t be surprised when the other person gets wind of it. Yup, Amelle has piped up - she told the Daily Mirror: “I was really upset when I heard she said I was a clone who copied her voice and her look. It was totally out of order.”
Perhaps Mutya will feel a wee bit sheepish when she hears that one of the songs she’s using on her new album was actually penned by ‘the clone’ herself. Amelle said: “I wrote it before I joined the Sugababes. I don’t think Mutya knows that.”

Former Sugababe, MUTYA BUENA hails her gay fans as the best, because they’re more fun and are only interested in having a good time. The singer left British girl group the Sugababes in 2005 following the birth of her first daughter Tahlia, and will soon be performing at London gay club G-A-Y - and she can’t wait. The 21-year-old singer says, “To be honest the gay audiences are the best. Gay people seem to want to go out and have a good time; in other places people go out, spend their money and then spend the whole evening giving each other dirty looks.”
