FIRST she quit Sugababes - now Mutya Buena is preparing to launch her very own label. The Real Girl is so passionate about her music she is hoping to set up a record company to “represent the underground”. Mutya, 22, told me: “Having my own label’s been in my head from the very beginning, representing the underground with mix CDs. I want to be able to keep putting stuff out in an underground way. I need to promote that scene as well.”
he teeny diva, who releases new single Just A Little Bit on October 22, is also keen to help out those pals who are still waiting for their big break.

According to today’s edition of the Daily Star, the Sugababes’ next single will be the title track of their new album, Change. Here’s what they had to say about it…
SUGABABES are the first band to sign up for the Christmas No 1 race of 2007. I can reveal the lovely trio will release the title track from their top new album Change on December 10. It’s a powerful tune and should see them jingling many a bell around the log fires come winter. The album hits stores on October 8.
The girls are currently entertaining abroad with shows taking in scenic spots like Vienna before heading back to Blighty for the release of single About You Now.
About You Now is #2 in this week’s midweek chart! Currently Shayne Ward is #1, but we still have the rest of the week to push the ‘babes to #1 with download sales alone. If you haven’t bought your digital downloads yet then read our previous news item to find out how.
The radio edit of About You Now is now available as a digital download along with the remixes which were released last week. Use the links below to make your purchases. The 2xCD and 7” formats will be released next Monday.
Radio Edit: iTunes | 7Digital
Remixes: iTunes | 7Digital
About You Now has entered the Official UK Singles Chart at #35 this week - solely based on the sales of the remix downloads. This is a massive achivement for the ‘babes.
It is also #12 in the Radio Airplay Charts, and the video is #22 on the Video Airplay Chart.
As well as that, Overloaded: The Singles Collection has risen 128 places in the Official UK Albums Chart to #71.
The Sugababes are on the cover of today's Sunday Magazine - free with every edition of the News of the World.
The interview inside features the following quotes:
Keisha: "No sex please, I'm celibate"
Keisha talks about a troubled relationship she had with an ex and why it's made her wary of men.
Heidi: "I'm always on a diet"
Heidi talks about the pressure to look good, but also not allowing yourself to get too thin.
Amelle: "Strippers taught me how to pole dance"
Amelle talks about what her and Keisha got up to on a night off.

Keisha and Mutya attended the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards separately this week. Mutya was one of the performers, and she was also a nominee for Best Newcomer, which she unfortunately did not win. She performed her hit single Real Girl along with the album track Suffer For Love. During the performance Keisha was standing up at her table, dancing and singing along, as the pictures below demonstrate.
